XIII-XIV CENTURY ITALIAN STYLE FUNCTIONAL 9- SEGMENTS  BREASTPLATE CUIRASS

This breastplate design is well known as "Italian" segmental breastplate.
Material is 1.5 mm (appr. 16 ga) cold-rolled steel, leather straps and steel rivets. Internal surface is painted black. Borders are turned-in.
So, the quality is "our" quality - this breastplate is functional, well thought-out and durable thing.
Then, I want to say few words about this breastplate design.
There are few reasons it was chosen for our "main-stream" breastplate.
Such segmental breastplate fits most sizes and very comfortable.
Then, segmental sides have very good shock-absorption properties.
