Combat-ready famous 'Hourglass' finger gauntlets for SCA and medieval reenactment. Great quality handmade armor. These finger-gauntlets are made of 16 ga mild (cold-rolled) steel. Great flexibility as well as good level of hand protection and sweet craftsmanship. Hourglass gauntlets is ideal armor for halberd and battle-axe fighters and all other warriors who need precious weapon control and fingers flexibility.
This model has been improved after many consultations with SCA marshals and fighters. Changes in comparison to previous model:
- Deeper knuckle plates;
- Significantly deeper thumb plate with shaped tip;
- Changes in main plate shape at internal side of the hand - edge of the plate now protects you from hit from inside;
- Little finger plates turned on 15-20 degrees to protect little finger from hit from below;
- Index finger plates are also turned a bit to close gap between finger plates and sword grip.
