Can the jacket be made in a cotton?

    ArmStreet team:

Technically this coat can be made of cotton though wool is preferable for this pattern (cotton might be too thin); simply add a comment to your order.

  • Umar Abu Faaris 16 of May 2015:

Looks like it might work for Ottoman or other Turkish as well. I like the Slav saber also, since it closer matches Ottoman infantry miniatures.

  • Dmitrii 30 of January 2015:

I am in Trimaris (Florida) and was curious would I boil to death in this or would it be comfortable?

    ArmStreet team:

Perhaps it's not the best choice for the hot climate, the coat is made of thick wool. We recommend to pay attention to the flax linen models.

Hey! Have you seen the Russian guy at the Arizona Renaissance Festival, did you help that guy, I want a costume like his, it's pretty incredible and looks a lot like yours, just tweeked out differently.

  • Michael Linklater 12 of March 2014:

When I measure myself do I add extra give or do I measure exactly to my size? Thank you

    ArmStreet team:

Please do not add any extra to your measurements. All we need is your actual body measurements - we'll add an allowance ourselves, it differs depending on the item.

  • Richard 03 of March 2013:

Do you have any pictures of it in any of the other colours?

    ArmStreet team:

Usually we make photo shoots of our items only in one basic color, so unfortunately there are no such pictures.

  • Jonathan 04 of September 2011:

what is that style of hat called?

    ArmStreet team:

There was no special name, just the "hat" (ru. shápka) of circular cone-shape with round fur band. The top of the hat was sometimes wringing on the side.

  • Adam 27 of August 2011:

Which boots is your model wearing? What are the pants made of?

    ArmStreet team :

The boots are not available, pants are made out of natural cotton.

  • Amaia 27 of March 2011:

    Is the hat included?

    ArmStreet team:

    The hat is included.

  • desja 04 of August 2010:

  • ashuri 23 of November 2009:

    Armstreet team:

    Thank you! Always welcome!

  • Siegfried 11 of January 2012:

Great costume, hight quality. But the cords for the buttons are frail ! (I have disjointed one of them)

  • Jared Salomone 02 of November 2009:

A truly magnificent ensemble. It is highly comfortable to wear and keeps you very warm as is the hat. Sash is very nicely detailed, despite being different from one in the pictures (not a bad thing at all, I like the black and red pattern I got even better than the one in the pictures). This costume is a must for any fan of Eastern European or Russian history and culture. Much Thanks!

    ArmStreet team:

Thanks for your great feedback, Jared!
