Medieval fantasy dress and overcoat
This is an elegant natural flax linen dress with flax linen overcoat. Actually, this garb rings a bell for late medieval tunic or early medieval dress, though it certainly has fantastic origin as well as the overcoat.
The set is made from 100% natural flax linen with golden trim and elegant buttons on the sleeves. Lacing on the back at both pieces allows making light size adjustments easily. Material is light, great for hot weather and have amazing rough authentic structure. The set gives you an excellent opportunity to create a bright character at any medieval or fantasy event and is a great attire as well.
Please note, if the difference between your bust and waist circumferences exceeds 9 13/16 in (25 cm), the dress won't fit tightly.
The set can be made with silver, gold, green-gold Celtic trim, silver or gold Forest trim.

Oh I just love this outfit. It is probably the nicest one I have. Everything just is wonderful and eye catching. While not a specific time period it fits across many different eras just fine. Lots of nice compliments on the outfit and of course like other Armstreet items craftsmanship is top notch.

I had to get the shawl in violet linen with pomegranate trim before I began to see where it would fit in my growing Armstreet wardrobe. I'm older (you could use some mature models, you know), and I like how elegant this ensemble is, whether I take along the shawl with the dress alone or wear the dress and coat together. Is it possible to get one of the pieces in another fabric (for a higher price I assume)? Such as the overcoat in velvet?

Are there gold front clasp with this Forest Princess Overcoat set? Or do you have to purchase some separately. I am always happy with everything I purchased. Usually your description and features let you know. I can’t tell from your descriptions/features on this ensemble. Thank you

It is possible to order this dress but made from cotton (i prefer cotton)?
This dress can be made of cotton upon request, no extra, simply mention preferable material and color in a comment to your order. Please note, cotton fabric is available in six colors: black, white, green, blue, dark blue, burgundy.
I am torn between buying this set and buying this coat to go with the chess Queen dress. What color combinations would look nice for the coat and dress set, without either of them being black. I am a pale blonde so I'm not sure which colors would wash me out.
We highly recommend midnight and burgundy colors, also you might like light blue and green, even though they are quite bright. Please specify which trim you prefer - gold or silver, so we could assist you with choosing the right color combination.

Is the "Forest Princess" dress and overcoat machine washable or dry clean only?
They are machine washable. Use 40°C (104°F) water for wash in gentle mode. To prevent tarnish an alkaline solution or color safe laundry detergent should be be used. Extraction (spinning) in delicate mode to simplify the ironing. Please don't use hot drying and do not pre-soak linen clothes.
