They consist of several layers: leather insole, leather fiber board, porous breathable orthopedic base and ribbed rubber outsole. This model cannot be made with authentic soles, but one can find many other historically accurate models with leather soles in our store.

How much support do these shoes offer?
Period handmade shoes provide no support by default, but you can pad them for comfort.
Are the 'Women's Lightweight Embossed Leather' shoes made to order? I have wide feet and am unable to wear standard width (B) shoes. Thank you
