Handmade medieval leather shoes

Great looking medieval style shoes are important part of any medieval or SCA character. Stylish shoes will complete your look and will last for years. These shoes are 100% handmade of natural leather with natural leather sole. Take into account that medieval shoes have to be used on soft surfaces like ground or wooden floor. If you are planning to use them on modern hard roads you can order them with rubber outsole on custom basis. Rubber sole is also less slippery so it will work if you need these shoes for any type of sword-fighting practice.

Historical reference:
Generally these shoes relate to late norman period. Current shoes shape was typical for most norman shoes but leather belts with clasps instead of lacing are typical for later period. These shoes will fit North European characters up to XII century...

Important note about measurements:
Please be careful taking your measurements — that influences very much at our ability to make the item that will suit you perfectly.
Please also keep in mind that handmade shoes will stretch so when you are getting your new pair it is normal that it fits very slim. After one or two days of usage shoes will get your feet shape.
