These Viking Boots are a perfect example of footwear that provides this balance.

These Viking Boots are made of sturdy leather with reliably reinforced leather trimming around sole and comfort overlapping boot-top. Boots are stitched with artificial tendons which make their look even more authentic and construction even more reliable.They will serve you many years providing period look with a close-to-modern comfort. They will be a great solution for different characters and occasions from renaissance fair to a professional tournament.
These boots have modern soles that ensure a secure grip and are perfect for different types of activity - from usual walking to reenactment medieval fighting. They consist of several layers: leather insole, leather fiber board, porous breathable orthopedic base and ribbed rubber outsole. This model cannot be made with authentic soles, but one can find many other historically accurate models with leather soles in our store.
Important note about measurements:
Please be accurate taking measurements – that influences very much at our ability to make the item that will suit you perfectly. Also, you should remember that natural leather is soft material and it will stretch so when you are getting your shoes it is normal that it fits very slim. It will get your feet shape after one or two days of usage.

I was wearing these boots in very hot weather for 3 days. To my amazement, my feet always felt well and cool, no sweating. On the other hand, walking on dew tends to soak leather through.

These beautiful boots feel WONDERFUL! I loved the look in the pictures and fell in love. I'm flat-footed, so it's also very difficult for me to find boots that don't cripple me. And upkeep is easy -- just use leather conditioner/leather food.

i have had these boots for almost a year now. and they have become my favorite boot. they are very comfortable to wear all day. the buckles hold the tops closed perfectly , for those who wondering about it before buying them. and for different looks it is easy enough to take the belts out and use leather straps or anything else you like and tie for a more wild look.

My boots just arrived. I had to have a bit of a conversation with the Armstreet customer service because my feet are a size larger than the largest listed in the drop down menu. After many emails back and forth, and pictures of me taking the measurements so that Armstreet's shoemaker could be sure of getting it right, I am very pleased to say that they fit perfectly, and the craftsmanship appears to be top notch. I could not be happier with the boots, nor with Armstreet customer service.

Hello, regarding these boots, at this time, can they be custom made, and if so what measurements would be needed to do so?

About the embossing, can the pattern be of any traditional viking pattern? I'd love a pair with a Mjölnir pattern

When custom sizes are measured/given, do the craftsman factor in a little "give room" for space?

Maybe a weird question but can these boots be made for women? I can't choose a woman's size from the drop down menu.

Question on sizing measurements, the 'Size (US)' option only goes up to a 13. If I provide exact measurements in the other fields, are you able to make sizes larger than that? I'm a 15 wide/double wide in most fixed sizes and it's so hard to find quality footwear, even outside of reenactment clothing.

I don't understand how these are tightened.
The bootleg wraps around and then gets fixed by the leather belts. The bootleg isn`t supposed to be very tight, it is more on a loose side. In general, the boots are very comfortable and are also just great for everyday wearing.
Would these boots hold up as an everyday wearing boot? or are they more of an occasional/Costume boot?
The boots can be used as everyday boots, they consist of several layers: leather insole, leather fiber board, porous breathable orthopedic base and ribbed rubber outsole, so they should be comfortable enough for wearing every day.

i was wondering about the shipping. im on a tight budget and would love to purchase your embossed leather viking boots. i wanted to know if the 26$ shipping was a set rate or if it's less since i live relatively close. thank you.

i was wondering how the boot is held closed. besides the straps anyway. is there a hidden thing for the upper part of the shaft?
The boots have no hidden clasp for the upper part of the boot-top, they are wrapover and held with the embossed straps.
I am interested in these boots i just have a couple of questions. how thick is the sole of this particular boot and are they pretty durable? these boots would get a lot of wear. My final question is how do they perform in wet conditions? Are they fairly water proof
Hi Byron! These boots can be made with rubber outsole upon request. it is about 4 mm thick and pretty durable. However, the boots are made of natural leather and they are not water proof, unfortunately.
