Great quality original pauldrons. Leather and stainless steel etched plates. Beautiful and very protective functional armor.
Most important armour features:
- Basically comes in 16 ga (1.5 mm) stainless steel
- Solid one-piece rivets
- Handmade casting clasps
- Deep and reliable etching (see etched armour test)
- Optionally: lighter (18 ga) metal for appearance purposes
Mild (cold-rolled) steel version available upon request though stainless steel is recommended.

Important note about measurements: please take into account that we need your measurements in gambeson, choses or other under-armour gear you are planning to use with this armor. The only exception is when you are ordering both armour and padding from our company — in this case you can send us your body measurements. For sabatons please send your footwear actual measurements.

Is it possible to purchase one pauldron, rather than the set? I intend to only wear one arm of armour. Also, I intend to spray it gold. Do you think the etching would be visible if i did that?
Hi Isabelle, sure we can sell 1 pauldron and yes, etching will be visible.
I'm just wondering if these spaulders come with any straps on them for attaching to arms/ breastplate, or if I should be preparing straps to attach them when they arrive? Thank you!
These pauldrons have no straps, they should be attached to the shoulders of your padding clothes with the laces sewn to the garment, as shown here. You may sew on a pair of laces to each shoulder of your clothes (making the "arming points"), we use thin leather laces for this.
