Gorget Armor “Paladin”

Medieval gorget with stand-up collar

This is long-expected etched gorget with neck protection! Smooth lines, well thought-out design, great finishing and gorgeous etched patterns makes this armor great part of any knight look.

Gorget is made of 16 ga stainless steel.

Mild (cold-rolled) steel version available upon request for reenactment maniacs, though stainless steel is recommended as etched armor maintenance isn't an easy thing.

Please contact us if you have any additional questions.

Important note about measurements: please take into account that we need your measurements in gambeson, choses or other under-armour gear you are planning to use with this armor. The only exception is when you are ordering both armour and padding from our company — in this case you can send us your body measurements. For sabatons please send your footwear actual measurements.

Safety disclaimer: Sword-fighting and fencing is a dangerous sport. We admonish that all acts with armour, weapons or their components have to be performed before designated person who is responsible for safety of the particular event and accredited to supervise armour and sport weapon conformance to the event’s standards.

Hi, is this gorget meant to be worn below or above the cuirass? Thanks.

    ArmStreet Team:

Hello, it should be worn below the cuirass.

  • Creighton 19 of June 2017:

Is there a discount if any if I were to order it without the etching?

    ArmStreet Team:

Hi Creighton, yes we can make 5% discount for the set without etching. Please contact our support manager for the coupon code.

  • Travis Horn 04 of November 2016:

Is it possible to request having straps to buckle pauldrons to attached?

    ArmStreet Team:

Hi Travis, yes it is possible, please contact our support team for details.

  • Clint Lively 24 of September 2015:

Hi - I am looking at the "etched functional gorget" on your website. Is it possible to customize the etching?

    ArmStreet team:

Custom etching is possible, please send the illustration at contact@armstreet.com. Price depends on the complexity of the ornament and its size. Then we'll be able to estimate the price and processing time.

  • David 09 of February 2015:

Just have to ask before I place my next order, can this gorget be custom ordered in the Medieval Western "The King's Guard" etching and brass borders style ?

    ArmStreet team:

Technically it is possible, but please note that such a gorget with chest plate will not fit the 9-segments breastplate. Brass border w/o etching costs 15% extra. “The King's Guard” style etching on the gorget costs 30% extra, etching on the brass border in “The King's Guard” style - 20% extra. So the gorget with such upgrades will cost about $500 approximately.
