This helmet is made in accordance to original Slavic design. Face visor is made more close to South Nomads visors. So historically this design is result of Mongolian influence on Slavic armor design.

Top cone shape is really great for shock-absorption and very complicated — real challenge for craftsmen, so this shape is really rare.

Helmet is made of 2 mm (14 ga) cold-rolled steel. It's polished very well and craftsmanship is outstanding. Diameter along eyebrows is 27 inches, so this helmet is O'K for almost any head measurements.

Armoring cap is integrated to helmet construction, lamellar neck protection is included absolutely in accordance to pictures. Eye holes are 2 1/4 inches length and 1 inch of height. In this exclusive version we made few significant changes to design: visor is made of 2mm (14 ga) brass and can be closed/opened, there is steel chin protector under visor chin and additional steel lines along top. Real piece of art and great combat armor.

Upgrade to stainless steel is available for $65 extra.

In contrast to many other armorers our armor is really hand-hammered. We don't use modern mechanical processes to make parts of armor. Every detail is fully handmade of flat steel plate. As result you have armor which looks close to historical prototype, hand-crafted and hand-polished.

OK, this is a wonderful helmet, I only have one question. Is there any protection down the back of the helm under the skirt? I am an SCA fighter and want for this helmet to work under their standards. and if not, can it be customized to provide the needed protection to the back of the neck?

    ArmStreet:

Yes, sure. We can adjust it with back plate or grill same to front grill
